Betsy Acree-McClenahan is the Director of Kaleidoscope Arts Project, a program of Imagination Celebration. Her teaching and performing career spans more than four decades and you can find many of her former students with State Street Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, School of American Ballet, national tours of Hot Shoe Shuffle, Wizard of Oz, The Producers, My Fair Lady, and the Broadway companies of Addams Family, Sister Act, West Side Story, The Lion King and Anything Goes. Ms. McClenahan is passionate about providing training and performing opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds. When she is not at her studio, she teaches the dance program at CIVA Charter High School, choreographs for The Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale, assists with the summer theater intensive in Canon City Colorado, performs, directs and choreographs extensively throughout the Pikes Peak region. Ms. McClenahan is delighted to be in her third year as the Colorado Director for Talent America and is excited to extend America’s longest running talent competition into Wyoming, Montana, Washington and California for the 2016 year.
